This brand plan developed a new identity for a youth-housing non-profit.
From 2021 - 2024, I sat on the board for R.E.S.T. Centres, an amazing non-profit organization doing really impactful work to support black youth aging out of the foster system. Right now there is over 40,000 youth experiencing homelessness in Canada.
When I started with the organization, the main priority was developing and implementing a brand identity that represented the clients, the community and the culture that this organization is supporting.
Working with the talented James Fisher and Kelly Small we took the organization through strategic exploration, verbiage, colour theory and more to fully capture the essence of R.E.S.T. from the team’s perspective.
The resulting framework of Shelter Dignity was developed as the organization’s tagline, the accompanying website was generated and a visual framework was created.
